Intel Core i7-9700K Review and Features

The Intel Core i7-9700K processor is a high-end processor.Especially suitable for overclocking. The i7-9700K processor can run at speeds of 3.6 GHz to 4.9 GHz.A new Z390-based motherboard is needed to be used in a new system.Unlike the previous processor model, the i7-9700K has 2 additional cores. It performs amazingly in very demanding applications and 3D games.

The processor has an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 graphics card.As it is known, this graphics card does not have great advantages. At the same time, it cannot offer high performance to the user.It is used only for performing simple graphics operations. At the same time, 3D video games cannot be played with fluent performance with this graphics unit.Only games with low system requirements can be run.

The processor works with 95 watts of power. At the same time, thanks to overclocking, the power used by the processor can be increased to 200 Watts very easily. Therefore, a powerful cooler is also needed in a system with an i7-9700K processor.

Intel Core i7-9700K specifications

It is a processor that offers very good performance in demanding applications and 3D games.

However, it needs a capable cooler. It is a processor that can be preferred with peace of mind for those who expect high performance.

Intel Core i7-9700K Benchmark

Although it does not offer much better performance than the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor model, we can say that it performs similarly.

However, the Ryzen 5 3600 processor gives better performance results by far. Similarly, the i7-9700K processor performs much better than the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor. The difference between the i7-9700K and the i7-8700K processor is quite low.

However, of course, the current technology 9700K performs better. We can say that the processor performs much lower than the 10th generation Intel i7 processor and 9th generation Intel i9 "K" processors.

  1. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X - 328
  2. AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - 228
  3. Intel Core i7-10700K - 195
  4. Intel Core i9-9900K - 188
  5. AMD Ryzen 5 3600 - 178
  6. Intel Core i7-9700K - 145
  7. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 - 132
The price of the i7-9700K processor, which is still a strong option today, has varied between $250 and $410.

However, the wage range given here does not represent the average prices in Pakistan. The price range here refers to the pure fee of the processor.

Price/Performance rating

We cannot say that the price / performance ratios for the 9th generation Intel i7 K and i9 K series processors are in good shape.Against AMD, the red team, the blue team Intel could not go a long way in terms of price and performance values.

While AMD offered high performance at affordable prices, Intel could not take a serious action in this regard.

  1. AMD Ryzen 5 360089
  2. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X67
  3. AMD Ryzen 7 3700X64
  4. Intel Core i7-10700K51
  5. Intel Core i7-9700K48

The values on the far right of this graph are the score that expresses the price and performance balance obtained, as a result of the comparison made according to the performance and price of the processor.A high score indicates a high price/performance ratio.
